I am the face behind the products. I am a Community Herbalist and Educator, Certified Aromatherapist, and Licensed Massage Therapist in addition to being a Wife and Mother of three.
I grew up in a family that experiences sensitive skin and is prone to severe eczema. We are also very sensitive to strong fragrances and perfumes. Finding skin care products that were either fragrance-free or only subtly scented was hard and very limited in variety. Fast forward to the craziness of today's world, it is very easy to feel overwhelmed and overstimulated from the dozens of ingredients and fragrances that bombard our bodies and senses everyday.

Beginning in childhood through to today, I've always been drawn to plants and traditional remedies. This interest was spurred on by the simple home remedies used by my mother and grandmother; such as aloe vera for burns, chamomile tea or warm milk with honey before bed, baking soda paste on poison ivy, and chocolate for uplifting the spirit. As I grew into adulthood and found western medicine to be incredibly expensive and hard to access, I turned back to traditional remedies.
Each product I make has been formulated in response to a need. The first product I made and sold was Elderberry syrup in 2016 to combat family and childhood illness. I then moved on to herbal body oils that address skin health and stronger nervous systems. I have since added many more items to my repertoire to address skin health, muscle health, the nervous system, and sleep.
In the last several years, I have begun to focus on developing products to help overwhelmed and overstimulated people find rest and rejuvenation. My goal is to create products that address those unique needs and challenges and promote self-care and well-being. Prioritizing simplicity and function, rather than scent and aesthetics is paramount to my mission. I aim to support those who feel overwhelmed and overstimulated by providing products and solutions that promote sensory space and emotional well-being.

Our mission is to create and provide herb-based products for
the sensitive in body and soul without sacrificing quality and comfort. This means carrying a full line of unscented and
fragrance-free products.

It also means only using sensitive skin friendly essential oils and fragrance oils that are free from parabens, phthalates, and sulfates; and always properly diluted when utilized. Organic is always chosen when available and bio-sustainability is paramount.
Herb and Ether is a small natural products and solutions business based in coastal Washington State. Inspired by personal experience and hardworking mothers, nurses, and caregivers, each ingredient in our products is mindfully chosen to synergistically work to return harmony, balance, and relief to overburdened and overstimulated women. We utilize simple and natural ingredients that are easily recognized and metabolized by the body and are also friendly to the earth.
